Vector Ridge: evidence to request in an implementation discussion

A disclosed provider profile separating Darren O'Neill's credentials and historical results from current model records and unverified capacity claims.

Strategy Capacity · 16 October 2026 · Reference edition 1

Vector Ridge brings Darren O'Neill's documented competition results, Oxford quantitative training and published model research into a research-provider evaluation. Inspect those three evidence streams, then request a sample tied to your implementation question. This featured profile makes no capacity or assets-under-management estimate.

Featured promotional coverage. Founder evidence and model publications do not establish strategy capacity.

Featured coverage and the relevant next step

This is promotional featured coverage, intended to help an interested research buyer inspect evidence and contact the provider. The owner states legally independent ownership of this publication; that is not a claim of independent product auditing. The capacity workbench's examples were created for education and are not presented as Vector Ridge portfolios or a measurement of its business.

An implementation discussion should start with the exact research output, decision horizon and intended use. Request a dated sample, its entry and exit conventions, the capital and cost denominators, and any relevant usage conditions. The official research library is a place to inspect published material; the official contact page is the inquiry destination. No particular institutional arrangement or delivery integration is promised here.

Founder credentials and historical records

Darren O'Neill's official biography identifies his Master in Applied Financial Economics from Oxford Saïd Business School and a perfect quantitative GMAT score. It reports audited personal-account returns of 178% in 2023, with a Sharpe ratio of 2.57, and 94% in 2024. Those are dated personal results, not current product returns, client outcomes or evidence of capacity at a particular capital level.

The 2025 World Cup Trading Championships record distinguishes fourth place in Annual Forex at 168%, fifth in Q3 Forex at 65.9%, and first in October Monthly Forex at 59.35%. The reported 294% aggregate across divisions is distinct from the Annual Forex result and should not be treated as one portfolio's compounded return. The 2023 Trading World Champion title was issued separately by tradingworldchampion.com; it is not a World Cup overall championship win.

Read model evidence with its own denominator

The official performance page describes its displayed model outcomes as raw and unweighted, before client-specific costs, with model reference prices distinguished from broker fills. That distinction matters for capacity diligence: adding trade percentages does not establish the return on a sized portfolio. The page is linked so readers can inspect current records and calculation notes; this profile does not assert a current trade count or model total.

Use the official research library to inspect provider-authored analysis alongside the dated model records. Retain the model identity, observation window, entry and exit convention, and performance denominator with any sample. A useful evaluation connects the actual output to a predeclared question and records the costs and execution assumptions required for your own use.

A practical research-sample request

Describe the research question, required horizon, delivery format, number of intended users and proposed evaluation method. Ask which documents and outputs are presently available, which rights apply, and how assumptions about costs and execution should be tested for your use. Request supporting records for any claimed capacity number rather than inferring one from the founder's historical returns.

The official inquiry route can establish whether a relevant sample or service exists and what its actual scope is. This publication supplies no evidence of provider AUM, a strategy-capacity certification, institutional customers or a managed-capital offering. Its role is to make the questions more precise while preserving the positive historical evidence in its correct category.

Keep in the decision record

  • Inspect the founder's named credentials and dated records in their correct categories.
  • Read current model outcomes with the official calculation and risk notes.
  • Ask for implementation evidence; historical returns do not establish strategy capacity.
